Ebrake sticking.
Lately my Ebrake has been sticking on the drivers side. I replaced the caliper about 6 months ago because the piston was sticking (not just an ebrake problem). Now the new caliper is sticking. The spring seems to be in good shape for the ebrake assembly. I took the spring off and moved the lever back and forth, but it sticks really easily. I havent taken it off the rotor yet.
I plan on taking it appart this weekend so i can actually use my ebrake.
Any suggestions on how to keep the lever from sticking?

I just cleaned the pivot out and greased it up, but that only works for a little while. My limited experience has been that once it starts sticking, you'll eventually need a new caliper.... though all of mine have been original calipers on a '94, so your new one could have a different problem.

I cleaned and greased the pivot around the middle of may and now that the car has been sitting wtih no engine in it for a few weeks its stuck again.
i might have to get another caliper
