Damn, I hadn't even thought much about gas lol. Plus I heard that its a good idea to run race gas to prevent knock during hot track conditions. Oh well I guess it will be money well spent.
And anyone have a recommended top plate, or a template? $35 seems pricey. And by undertray, do you just mean the one large undertray that always dumps crap into your eyes when you remove it?
And I'm going to leave my ultimates on for this time, and invest in blues if I decide to go back soon. And I have motul 600 in now if I'm not mistaken.
And if this helps, I will be running willow springs if all goes to plan, so quite hot from what I've heard.
Thanks for all of the info, I hope nothing breaks!

have you considered properly tuning the car? It makes me laugh when people say they don't have $150 for 3 dyno pulls, but they have $250 to blow on a track day that will probably end up costing much more than just the track time and consumables.

I like my S4's just fine but i am more of a momentum driver than most. ie. i carry alot of speed through corners What are you running for tires? puny 205's definetly won't cut it for sure get some real tires. Also don't forget to make sure you have clean fresh synthetic in the car all around. + either before you leave or when you get to the track remove the spare, jack, and anything else in the car. Your koyo should hold up fine. I hope you have a good time but seriusly suggest you get a dyno tune done.

Well I guess it would be a good idea to get the car properly tuned, but I have just spent so much money that $150 will be hard to find. And I know that sounds really stupid if I am going to do a trackday that costs the same, but I have been dying to do one all summer, and this seems to be my only chance for a while.
Does anyone know of a good/affordable tuner out here in socal if I decide to get it tuned at a shop?
And as of now I have 205 azeni tires, I'll look into squeezing some 225 RS-2's onto my 7" K1's for my next set, but as I said, money is a BIG issue. And all that useless crap is already out, I ride light .
Thanks for the help, I'll try out the gorilla tape (I assume you mean duct tape? I'm not so informed on tape slang).
