Also while I'm here, how would 225's be any better on a 9" wheel than a 8" wheel? Also. how are the Gen 2 6UL's better than the Gen 1's?

So I could safely run your setup on 11psi with a stock motor? Obviously my spool wouldn't be near that good with a stock 1.6 compared to your built 1.9 or whatever.

Where do you reccomend buying the 2860r, Tial Housing/38mm WG?

Since you have to pay the $300+ extra for the vband housing, do you get money back for the housing that comes with the turbo?

I've already told you that 225 is much better on the 9, and the 205 is best on the 8. The 2nd gen gets you more brake clearance.

Probably not considering 250whp is the limit in terms of dynojet numbers...I'm about 12% higher output at that level. The rods won't last.

Yes, buy the GT2860rs and MVS and get them from Tim Fodor/Absurdflow...get the silver parts too because heat changes the anodized coloring to brown.
You'll buy the turbo from TiAL with only the v-band housing, there is no exchange needed.

So I can get a 1.6 manifold/DP from ARTech, get 2860rs, and put it on my stock 1.6?

Just run 10 psi? Or is this a bad idea?

Probably run 8psi. You'll be under the prime on the turbo, but it will still make more output and be easier to drive than what you have now.

Let's make sure everything else is up to snuff first, okeydokey? You were JUST have cooling issues. You should be able to spin the turbo on one bolt to access and remove the stripped one when the time comes.
