Thoughts on RHD?
I had never driven a right hand drive car (or been in one) until yesterday. My friend calls me up and says to come outside and he shows up in this (cell phone pictures...sorry):
It is an R34 GTR V SPEC II NUR. And it was by far the coolest car I have ever seen let alone drive in my life. The heads up display on the center dash is amazing, all digital. I used to be the biggest porsche fan, drove my boss's 997 turbo for a week and thought it was the ultimate. This skyline blows it out of the water.
What are your thoughts on right hand drive? I used to not a have a good impression, but you feel like a rockstar in this car. RHD FTW!!!

Can you drive a LHD car on the streets there? I ask you because they started importing a **** ton of cars from Japan here about 2 years ago and it got so out of hand that they just prohibited them. What most people do is import them and then send them to specialty shops to have them changed to LHD; but I really don't like that option.

This is a dangerous subject, both in the Content of the photographs and the whole "RHD" thing... You know, I have to say I've always enjoyed the R33 & R34s. Their body lines are just absolutely incredible and the performance potential of the cars are very impressive too. Only thing is, they're WORSE than a Supra in cost of performance accessories.
A local dyno/Speedshop owner here has a white R33 and a Silver R32. The 32 is bone stock and the 33 is his 'drag' car with tons of upgrades.. I nearly shat my pants after hearing what some of his goodies cost.
Always tend to think about the Ex Vi Termini guys down in the 'Outback' with their arsenal of 1000+hp R33s...
This car could nearly rip a dyno out of the cement floor;

LOTS of Japanese imports here (incl some crazy midnight club style stuff).
