I dont know if I have ever wanted something so badly in my life before.
1988 BMW 325i Touring (E30) w/ 450hp LS3 motor and 6spd manual
1988 BMW 325i Touring (E30) w/ 450hp LS3 motor and 6spd manual
With a heavy heart it is time to sell my LS3 E30. This car is absolutely amazing. It's comfortable for long distances, an exceptional cruiser and grocery-getter, and....well the LS3 part doesn't hurt. It's a GT, it's a sportscar, it's just incredible. I've been driving it since 2011 and it has never ever let me down. I was taking enough road trips in it that I sold my newer daily driver and just used the BMW, it does just about everything. It gets 25MPG at 75MPH and will never make you want to drive anything else. It's really hard to have to sell it, but I'm moving to a place without room for it so she's gotta go.
I bought the car as a bone stock 320 Touring from Germany and had the drivetrain from my other car (a 1991 BMW 318iS with the LS3 in it) put in. It's a professionally done swap by a few experienced fabricators and since I bought the motor new, have put about 7000 miles on it. The photos show an MTech1 steering wheel but it has an new MTech2 in it now. Some also show the original wheels, not the black OZ Racing wheels that it has on it now. The car has a sun roof and sport seats that are comfy and just about perfect. Everything works and the speedo was new when the car was built and is accurate to the engine.
Here's a list of some of the upgrades:
-LS3 E-rod kit. This was new and came straight from GM with cats, headers, fly-by-wire pedal, engine, air intake, ECU, and the motor (bought brand new, retailed about $14k).
-Racing diff (3.07 w/ polished gears and solid machined non crush sleeve). Built by a funny car builder to withstand torque concerns (this alone was $1250 and I've got the receipt for it).
-Hurst Drivelines T56 Magnum transmission. 6spd manual, .5 6th gear cruises at about 1000rpm at 6-mph (bought brand new, have receipt).
-Ireland Engineering brake disc/pad kit (have receipt).
-H&R Touring Cup Kit suspension on all four corners.
-Hydroboost from a Mustang Cobra R.
-17" OZ Racing wheels
-Custom 3" exhaust with a crossover. The sounds it makes are intoxicating.
-Custom built radiator. Has never overheated, custom built to fit the car and heat requirements of the motor.
I'm not looking for any trades and the car is available as long as the ad is up. It's fast, it's stable, it's smooth, it sounds amazing. Some higher resolution photos are here: LS3 Touring - Album on Imgur. You won't find a better car to spend your time in. I'm happy to answer questions over email or text at

That's pretty rad actually.
That E-rod set, if it hasn't been monkeyed with and installed with all the parts that came in the box (read: catalytic converters) then it should be CA emissions compliant. AFAIK all the E-rod setups come with a CARB OE#

If I still had it today, I bet I could easily get more than $10k for it.

Yeah, 1.8L M42. I/H/E = chip made them quicker than a 325is of the same year.
Fun little cars.
I also at one point had an '88 325is that we swapped in the motor from a '98 M3. I/H/E + tune it put down like 245whp on the dyno. That car was a ton of fun for 2 weeks until the headgasket blew.

I'll raise the 450HP E30 with 625HP Turbo E30
Hennarot 625whp/558wtq M52 turbo, 5spd E30 Coupe

Hennarot 625whp/558wtq M52 turbo, 5spd E30 Coupe
PRICE $19,000 OBO - PLEASE READ FULL DETAIL BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS THAT WERE PROBABLY ANSWERED ALREADY
Up for sale is my turn key, reliable 625whp/558wtq M52 turbo, Hennarot (Henna Red) 1984 318i coupe. I've owned the car for 4.5 years, and prior to me it was owned by R3vlimited.com OG Trent. I bought the car from Trent with a CARB legal OBD1 M52. In my time of ownership, I had Castro Motorsport turbo charge the car, starting off with a lower powered set-up and now with the kill mode set-up that it currently has. The car is dead nuts reliable, and needs nothing. The AC blows cold in the summer and the heater is warm in the winter. The engine temps are right where they should be, and the car has zero mechanical needs.
Being Hennarot makes this car more unique than most E30s you see on the road. It also has tasteful and quite rare aesthetic modifications, including a nicely reupholstered interior. Turn up the radio volume to hear the crisp, upgraded sound system, or roll the windows down and hear the turbo scream!
The car is very fast whether running lower boost on 91 octane (around 500whp/430wtq) or turned up running high boost on e85, making a blistering 625whp/558wtq! With the high boost setting on, the car bested 164 mph at the Shift S3ctor 1/2 mile roll race event, and is faster than most modified super cars out there. There are very few street cars you"ll run into this fast driving around town.

Drive a shitty e30 and you'll forget all desires for one. So many destroyed lower control arms....
that being said I'm rebuilding a pro3 on MCS with the trailing arms powder coated pink. Should be nice when finished.
