Looks pretty riced, but the seller obviously doesn't know $hit, so might be a good find:

It took me this long to realize why there were just so many overlapping CL postings like this from you Six (the sandbox)... I'm feeling especially slow now.

It's not like I use a mysteriously different username every place I go, lol. I'm the same everywhere. Just cross-sharing things of interest.

Nobody goes on miataforumz anymore. I'm on about 6 forums looking for interesting things.

1990 Nissan PAO- RHD wagon- 18K original miles. - $9500 (Evanston illinois)

RARE Nissan PAO wagon, one of four "art cars" designed and built at the "Pike Factory" in Japan by Nissan in a show of originality. 18000 original miles. 1000 cc four mated to a smooth shifting 3 speed automatic, this design borrows elements of the Citroen Deux Chevaux and the famous original Fiat 500 "Giardiniera" wagon. 51000 built between 1989 and 1991 and totally legal in the USA now that it's over 25 years old. It's right-hand drive. So you can drive in reverse through the drive up.

This is an exceptional car. Rust free, runs perfectly and has ice cold A/C, fully retractable canvas sunroof that's fully automatic, a brand new battery and four brand new tires due to old date codes on the originals. It also has the "picnic" radio/cassette deck that is designed to work outside the car as well as inside. It cruises comfortably at 55-60 and gets over 40mpg. Yes, no typo. 18,000 original miles. You'll NEVER see one this clean or this unmolested. This one needs only a garage and a fun loving driver who wants the best Pao available. A 3 season, rust- free
classic that gets a big thumbs up from everyone.

Good hell, I'd DD the **** out of that, and then feel guilty because of how clean it is.

I'm kind of amazed those Nissan retro cars passed safety standards even in 1990.

If I still lived in Hawaii with all local driving or lived in a situation where I didn't need to do battle on the interstate at 80mph for several hours every day, definitely. If I lived where @Ryan_G does and had his commute, it would be a cool choice.

I cannot comprehend the desire to daily drive something like that. It's cool, but as a daily? Nfw.

Evanston is only 8 miles from where I live.

And I have $9,500.

I wonder how the MA10S engine would respond to a Megasquirt and a turbo?
