looks like the turbo is smaller sized than the vf its replacing, its dropping like a rock up top

It appears to be running next to no timing too.

can't wait til people are able to get into the ecu and see what's really going on

More likely it just looks like its droping like a rock because this car has higher peak torque, lower boost at redline, and goes stupid stupid rich.

I'm more interested in if the low mount twin scroll manifold fits the GD chassis

Has anyone ever done it? Use small electric inline pump for the turbo oil return and figure out some sort of funkey downpipe and run an FMIC.

If I didnt already buy group-n engine/tranny mounts I probably would have taken this offer up, and used the savings to justify buying group-n tophats.

How many losses do they have in 3rd?

I still never understand why all Subarus lose so much boost up top. I was going to tune mine to hold boost to redline, but Vlad suggested I don't bother. 22psi dropping to 8psi at redline makes me lol.

Because its physically impossible. Even if you welded the wg shut, you'd still taper.
Feel free to try it lol
Get a large 20g or something even bigger and hold boost to redline no problem.

Yup, its the problem of the td04. I was running 80% doody cycle up top and it was still tapering to 11psi, I've dropped that to like 60% and still hitting the same boost target with, in theory, lower exhaust manifold pressures which should mean more power and lower egts.

td04, vf52, vf3x, 16g, 18g, and even all but the largest 20g's....30R and up is where you don't have that problem anymore

Even the 20g's will taper if you run ALLOFIT in the mid range. But I've noticed that subaru tuners mainly only run ALLOFIT with stock turbos.

yeah even on a 20g once boost is in the mid to high 20's it will start to taper.

but at that point I would be looking for an evo. I'm not a fan of high hp subaru's.
