I've been so busy today, I forgot to eat a real meal. Just thinking back, all I've had are 3 doughnuts, a coffee and a handful of starburst. Plus the few bottles of water. Oh well, I'll catch a meal tomorrow.

Lunch today felt oddly like a videogame.
I'd stepped out of the lab for a bit. When I returned, I found a box sitting on my desk:
Hmm.
"Open Box -> View Contents"
Is Sandvich!

I don't think I have ever actually been into a Panera store, nor have I, to the best of my knowledge, eaten their food previously. I wasn't joking when I said that I walked into my lab and found a box sitting there on the desk. (I later found out that they had one extra from a conference lunch that was being held on the other side of the building, and our chief scientist thought it would be nice to give it to me.)
So from my perspective, it really was kind of a videogame moment, where you just find boxes containing food lying around randomly.
I was a bit underwhelmed by the sandwich, actually. It was good (fresh, yummy, etc) but not particularly remarkable inasmuch as that it wasn't anything that I couldn't have easily whipped up myself. Definately not the sort of thing that The Sandwich Maker would have been impressed by.
Lunch today consisted of an Elevation Burger: tomato, pickles, raw onions, and Elevation Sauce. Yummy.

Vacation meals...gotta love 'em. First pic, Sushi Den in Denver prior to my flight, still trying to be healthy. Second pic, the Luther burger at Crave Burgers here in CoSPgs, very much still in vacation eating mode and not giving a ****.
Total food intake yesterday: 6 donuts, four or which were the "buns" on that burger; 5 shots espresso; 1qt strawberry lemonade; Luther burger (fried egg, bacon, cheese, beef patty, donuts); sweet potato fries. Smoked a lot of weed to make up for lack of nutritional intake. Crave also makes "adult" milkshakes loaded with liquor, but I was already high and had driven across town for this so I didn't want to push it. Started trembling uncontrollably about 10 minutes into the meal and continued for about an hour. FEEL THE RUSH

Holy ******* *****, man.
You do realize that Luther Vandross, for whom that burger is named, had a stroke at the age of 52 and then died from a heart attack at age 54?
Anyway, lunch today. Lamb and rice with tomato, from the guy with the cart on the corner of Hudson & Varick.
