Yet another silly game
If you're like me, then lately you've been saying to yourself "This business of hurling bombs at the royal family with a trebuchet is all well and good, but after a long day at the office huffing lacquer thinner and snorting cocaine off of the receptionist's ****, there's far too much thinking involved in it. If only there was some mindless passtime that combined the very best elements of Lunar Lander, Sonic the Hedgehog, and that thing where the rabbit jumps from one bell to another, well, then my life would be complete."
And here you are: Hedgehog Launch 2: The Moon
Yes, now you too can step into the shoes of the director of aeronautical research for a small, impoverished nation which, not content to be outdone by those industralized countries with their fancy space shuttles and 16-colour computers, has armed you with an incredible $40 budget and tasked you with the awesome job of launching a hedgehog (with a large rubber band) into a hole drilled completely through the Earth, out the decadent US state of Nebraska, and into the furthest reaches of outer space.
Be sure to select "Story Mode" as opposed to "Free Play" or it gets old fast. Well, it gets old fast either way, really, but it remains playable for very slightly longer this way.

Yeah, in freeplay mode, you can walk away from the computer at 100,000 feet and 10 minutes later the damn thing will still be bouncing around.
Now that everyone's landed on Mars, there's always the original Hedgehog Launch.

Yeah, I got it once. You really have to try to prevent yourself from reaching Mars first though. Once you've got it, you just keep travelling upwards at a uniform velocity after launch.
In Story mode, the moon is at 10k ft.

Haven't done 3 days to Mars, but regarding the money situation, how's seven billion on day 5?
In my own defense, most of that time was spent away from the machine. Get the little guy high enough, put some lateral thrust on him, and he'll go for hours.
Is there a support group for people who need to quit this game?
