The laziest most uncaring mother effers work there, but that $1 menu beats the **** out of McDs.
Forgot about Chic-fil-A. Semi healthy fast food, with awesome service. Only place my daughter really eats outside of home. She knows what quality is.
If you post the same thing in every thread on this topic, you should expect people to get annoyed.
EDIT: It's all about menu choices. I recently had a coupon for a McDs salad, and I have to admit it was better than I expected, and surely much healthier than everything else on the menu. Chic-Fil-a grilled breast with just lettuce and tomato is pretty good, and a sensible choice as well.
Regardless of the food we choose to eat, we should not "expect" it to not be properly prepared...

Mmmm. However, the last couple of times in NYC, I didn't get good White Castle. Kinda messed me up. May have been b/c I ate 12 sliders plus fries...but I digress.
BTW, for all you "oh, healthy >>>>> fast food".....yeah, no kidding. However, this thread is for all us fatties, cholesterol-laden arteries, digestive problematic folks. If you don't do fast food, then please refrain.
Oh, and faeflora (and other non-meat eaters): choke on a hot dog.

you can go to a burger joint and get:
grass fed organic beef made from beef from only a few cows, organic veggies, hormone and antibiotic free cheese, fries fried in olive oil
or you can go to a different burger joint and get:
factory beef from hundreds of cows (in one burger) that is lower in omega 3 fatty acids and higher in saturated fat and has a higher probability of E. coli (corn makes cows sick--this is fact) and full of whatever antibiotic du jour the "rancher" has over fed the cow which leads to human antibiotic resistance, veggies with pesticides and less nutrients from over farmed and over fertilized soil (the extra fertilizer runs off into the watershed and causes algae blooms which leads to widespread death of aquatic life) and cheese with more hormones than a post-menopausal mom and flavor created as some scientists lab experiment and fries fried in whatever oil is cheap.
we all love fast food. I still eat at mcdonalds once in a while. But I know what I'm eating (well, not really) and I weigh that risk when I place the order. people in general are very ignorant about what they put into their mouths. most of this stuff we eat is not food. it's high profit margin manufactured products that have a familiar flavor.
and McDonalds has no responsibility to properly prepare food other than meeting FDA minimum guidelines (which aren't necessarily "good practices" in most cases). I still can't believe places advertise "100% beef" is in their burgers. What the **** else would be in there?

I just eat at fast food places with quality stuff. Elevation Burger, Chipotle.... oh and if you've heard, even Arby's is now offering grass fed beef in Richmond as a test. If it was doing it up here, I'd be cramming a beef and cheddar down my throat.

I recently tried a 5 Guys burger. Shitload of fries and the fries were good. The burger wasn't too bad but was a touch on the greasy side. It was in the Tyson's mall food court though, maybe other locations are better.
In Colorado they had this chain called Good Times. In high school we'd sometimes go there on our lunch break. Their burgers were adequate, but the seasoned curly fries were what I really liked.
Between McD's, BK and Wendy's, I'm going to Wendy's. One is just as bad for you as the others, but Wendy's tastes better.

I eat very little beef...burgers are a treat for me. 95% of the time I get "fast food" it's going to be something of chicken content.
I <3 Arby's...chicken. Rarely do I get anything roast beef related.
More places need to serve chicken salad though. Anyone like Which-Wich? That *ish is bomb! I have not been to 5 Guys or Red Robin in like 5-6 months+. I usually grab a nice fresh eggsalad sandwich from the cafe in my building for lunch, eat lots of pasta at home, go out for mexican pretty regularly and really like some of the pizza joints around here.

I'm with Y8s on this. **** fast food.
Local restaurants around here will get you a real burger that actually fills you up, fries that dont suck, cute chicks in the vicinity, a game on TV, and a beer for about 20 bucks, and that incudes a decent tip. Skip the beer and you can walk for a good bit less. Shoot even a draft special will save some cash. Or spend about half that to experience:
Spending as much time standing in line or parked in the drive-through as you would in a small restaurant, just with far less pleasant scenery to look at. I dont like back hair and wannagees competing for visual real-estate.
Better yet, learn to cook. Last night I had a steak that I had marinated with salt, pepper, garlic, and worstershire sauce all day, some home fries, some brocoli, and a beer. Cost me about 5 bucks. It was from one cow, it tasted awesome, and I got to watch 24 while I ate it. I also have another steak (it was a 2 pack for about 4 bucks) marinating right now and I think I'll do a baddass sandwich with it and sauteed onions. I have not had food poisoning in years.

I don't think so. Not the same menu, and not the same food quality. Jacks kicks *** and is cheap. Used to get breakfast there nearly every morning, since they were the only thing open that early typically. Get 2 steak biscuits for like ~$1.
