Default Genesis Pikes Peak...

Wow. That's some driving. The new Genesis Coupe + Rhys Millen = Record.

I don't know how many new cars can match the performance/price combo of this car. There is so much potential. Unfortunately, I still just don't consider it to be one of my choices while looking for a new car. It's too hard to get over the "Hyundai" thing. It's probably going to become the next rice-a-roni though. I can see a bunch of fucktard newbs blazing the streets already. haha. MS3 look-out.

The lower screenshot doesn't match up to the main image. That makes me sad.

There some spots that look to be like 2 seconds off. Hard to tell though when your not in the car.

Wow that's a great video. If his car is making 600whp off the v6 I'd say the performance potential is in the V6 not the 2.0. I saw a v6 on the road and it's actually quite fast. Not as fast as the 370z but fast. It looks like a pretty nice car albeit generic. I think it's a bit expensive for horrible ugly rice.

Great looking? No way.. They dropped the ball on it big time. The latest Tiberon was better looking than this thing!

I guess they are making the power from the V6...(autoblog.com)
This is the first time Millen is making the run in his new Hyundai Genesis Coupe, and he's evidently driving the same car he has been using in Formula D drift events all year long – complete with the Hyundai V6 powerplant.
However, you do know that the 2.0L turbo is basically the motor out of the Mitsubishi Evo. I guess with a smaller turbo/detuned. That motor has a **** load of potential.

Fantastic video. There were a few parts where I was genuinely scared he was going to crash.

I'm timing between 1.5-2 seconds. The in-car lower shot is out, but when they switch to the second outside view it's in time. You can easily tell when he shifts. He reaches down, a few seconds later you can hear the car shift.

Oh well, it'd be cool to see how much is counter steering for the turn he's already in and how much is for setting up for the next turn.
