Hilarious because they issued a credit card to your cat.
Mortifying because they issued a credit card to your cat, which sort of reinforces the stereotype of banks and other financial institutions issuing credit indiscriminately to anyone without any concept of creditworthiness / financial responsibility.
Was the cat registered to vote, too?
Once, years later, my wife and I came home to find a message on the answering maching. A male voice said, (and I'm paraphrasing) "This message is for Killa. We had a great time yeaterday. Thanks for letting us use your club membership, had my best round ever."
Apparently, my cat had a much more active social life than I ever imagined.

This reminds me of the story of Sal Esposito, the cat who was summoned for jury duty in Boston in 2010. The court rejected the owner's request for disqualification (on the grounds that Sal could not speak or understand English), despite an attached letter from the vet stating that Sal was not, in fact, human. Apparently they actually had to show up in court with the cat.

That's the reason I cancelled the card. I was afraid it'd get some charge put on it, and I'd be responsible. No idea if I'd be liable, but it wasn't worth the risk.
At one point I contemplated buying something expensive, and then claiming it wasn't me, I didn't owe anything, etc. I chickened out.

I remember seeing pics (coulda been the pic thread) where someone had installed catwalks from room to room. They were up near the ceiling, and there were portholes so the cats could go all over without touching the floor. That was cool, but the tower/castle thing above is just plain obscene.
Just increased my credit limit from $700 to $5,000 on my credit card. This will allow me to utilize less 20% if I put all my charges on it now. Before, It was getting 75 to 80% usage. Now time to play the waiting game and pick up a Discover card.
I'll get perks with the discover card when I get it.
Oh and, screw you!

Me and credit cards are the fail. I got a $4000 card about 2 months ago and couldn't resist going on a shopping spree. Maxed I thought I would be able to resist and just use it to maybe 25%. And I have 3 others, even more fail. Too many cards, too much % used = shitty impact on credit score.
Locked my keys in my car for the second time in a week. Up to this week, I have never locked them in. Not gonna put up with this crap, ordering power locks and keyless entry system now.
