So I finally graduated college on Saturday. All I need now is a job and I'll feel like a real, productive member of society. I hated going through school knowing that I was living off my parents' and the government's money. Time to give some back. I might be poor as **** this Christmas, but next year I swear I'm getting my parents something really nice.

At this time of the year, when the police checkpoints come up with great regularity, I would like to share a personal experience with some of my friends about drinking and driving.
As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from an occasional social session over the years.
A couple of nights ago, I was out for an evening with friends and had a couple of drinks and some rather old scotch.
Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before, I decided to take a cab.
Sure enough, I passed a police checkpoint, but since it was a cab, they waved it past.
I arrived safely home without incident, which was a real surprise as I have never driven a cab before and am not sure where I got it or what to do with it now.

Sitting here with a glass of wine and some fresh green, enjoying life. No door smashing from here on out.
Things have turned around big time for me and hopefully I can keep up with the momentum I've reached.
Just wanted to share that with you bros!

My pinky finger is smashed in a little bit and my palm is a lot thicker on the broken hand.
If I swing the hammer all day it'll be numb by the end of the day. So I have to be as careful as I can be, all the while try to keep working.
Luckily I've been doing estimates, layout, finish work, etc, and less grunt work.
I figure that if things stay how they are now, eventually I'll be able to get it taken care of. Right now we're too busy with work and I still have to get myself back on an insurance plan.
For now I just deal with the pain and hope it goes away soon.
No, that's only if I work from home. I joke with the brazilian guys and tell them that when I stay home and work that I make money with one hand and jerk off with the other. lol
I actually just upgraded to a new hammer and got myself a new Stanley 22oz antivibe. The ******* thing is the best hammer I've ever used.
