600 same as 610. Few years back the focus died before my vacation so I rented a 610 for the trip and I could not tell the difference. Nikon did recall on my 600 for free years ago and I never had oil problem.

I got oil spots a year after my first free shutter replacement and they sent me a brand new d610 for free after that. But that's my back-up camera now.
