I'm at a really strange place right now professionally in addition to getting on the DL with the injuries, realizing that with all the difficulties that come from a busy part of the world and 100% management turn-over recently, I need to get back to New Mexico, get more involved with the work there, enjoy the relaxed lifestyle in the high desert. There's a little part of me that I recently discovered when I started cycling and an new found love-affair with the outdoors. I can't get it here because the flatland is not pretty enough, but I need DFW to support the lifestyle I want, which lets me get back to NM for fun, unwind my brain, relax.

I moved back to the promise land after living in Oregon for a couple of years.
I live in the mountains at 7300 ft of elevation; property backs up to national forest. It was not expensive...
Definitely no regrets... but I did grow up here as well.
This is my neighborhood:

Am I going to get tired of pink? It's either pink or purple.
Purple is reasonable, has staying power, looks good on other colors. Pink is righteous though, very much a fuscia more than pink, only really works on this frame and I think this will be my last conventional-brake road bike. hmmmmm
