I did something like that once.
Except it was after 12 hours of driving.
It just started raining.
Road was wet / oily.
A puppy jumped into my lap.
And it was a Ute with no load that dropped a gear and kicked out the back.

The puppy caused it. But he's to cute to stay mad at.

I think that drivers just an idiot.

Because Mustangs typically have shitty drivers?

Because 32% of Mustangs leaving cars and coffee must do so on a rollback?

99.99% of people that shift into 2nd during one of those little stunts cannot handle what happens next.
Because catching traction mid rolling-burnout requires a skilled reaction that most of these n00bs do not posses.

Pretty sure that one was caused by tire pressure. Always check your tire pressure.

That happened about a quarter mile from where I am sitting this very moment.

Seeing this kind of thing makes me want to try and duplicate it in a controlled environment. Once I duplicate the problem, I want to practice stopping or preventing it.

That isn't to say I plan on acting like an *** in public.

Ah that video from our local facebook car spotters group.

Overall answer is idiot... but if you look/watch movement it looks like he was doing a tiny slide... left wheel went over that manhole cover and he went wider than expecting... panic set in and lift/spin/boom.
