Oh snap.

I wonder how many makerbots have be used to 3D print a buttplug.

I am not sure how precise the makerbot is, but I know the 3d printer I have access to can not make shapes smooth enough that I would recommend using it to print a buttplug.

A bit of 4000 grit sandpaper and then some polish would do the trick.

We used to make them out of leftover stainless stock when I worked in the machine shop. If the material is good enough for surgical tools its good enough for a *****/buttplug. I've got pics somewhere...

I was told some people like to put them in the freezer

Couldn't find pics. This was back around '02~'03 and eBay was not nearly as liberal with their listing policies as they are now so we tapped the ends and sold them as shift *****. With 20/20 hindsight it turns out we were about a decade too soon on that one. The feedback for that account was hilarious, trying to remember the name of the eBay account we setup to sell them because no one wanted that on their personal account. We made soooo much beer money

I just hope that somewhere out there, I'm responsible for a redneck in a 90's Trans Am who is oblivious to the fact that he is using an 18oz stainless steel buttplug to row through the gears on his way to work every morning.

I seriously just burst out laughing in the middle of a crowded train station. People are looking at me like I'm dangerously insane.

LOL @ Trans Am...

Had a mullet wearer in a WS6 chirp his tires beside me at a stoplight the other day while I was easing off of the clutch in first. I was still letting the oil warm up, so I hadn't been trying to egg him on. When he bounced off of the rev limiter at the top of second gear from two car lengths behind me and gave up, I imagined him getting angry at his car, driving to his apartment, and beating his kids.

Now that I've thoroughly derailed this thread... Mazduh: What software package are you using for your design work?

Well, it's official. The phrase "stainless steel buttplug" has now been transmitted, in both directions, through Amtrak's on-board Wi-Fi system.

Autocad puts out this free software called 123D Design. I haven't really cracked into it yet, but seems simple enough. That and probably Blender for when I get more advanced at things.
