Damn I can remember when I could find used "fun" cars cheap. I've been search for a few weeks now and most 3000 and down are POS. I use to see good condition RX7, 1gen gst's, starion/conquest.

DAMN FandF DAMN you to hell

I'm starting to think we're "running out" of these cool, older, cheap cars. I mean ****, look at miata prices.

I've definitely seen an increase specifically on Miatas since the winter, no doubt due to the nice weather. I have bought four Miatas since January. I bought two for $500 and $600, not running and one running for $1200. Haven't seen a non-running Miata under $1500 since.

Stopped to see one for sale yesterday. It's a 2000 with 60K. Top original and faded, white PEP car. He wanted $9,600!

I know i see 92 and 93's and they are asking 5,6k for them. HELL no. And i've seen turbo charged cars going for over 12k. Insane.

I agree with what you are seeing out there, but listing for $12K is one thing - selling for $12K is quite another.

Miatas are selling for ridiculous amounts?

This is great news! Listing one for sale this weekend.

Proceeds of the sale will get me the parts I need to complete the rebuild of the one I'm keeping. :-)
