Papa's got a brand new sponsor
My business partner's dad races in the Camaro-Mustang Challenge for NASA Mid-Atlantic. He painted his car bright orange last year in order to try to get noticed and get published in Grassroots. That didn't work as the whole season he showed up once, a picture smaller than the size of pinky-nail.
He decided to repaint the car "fire" red and since he had to redo the decal, we decided to spruce it up a bit and throw our logo on it and help give it a good look, hopefully this get published now
More was still being applied when I took these pics at lunch, but I think so far it's looking great.

The Grassroots guys don't do their own shots of the race coverage unless they are participating or doing a feature. Try and find the photographer who is submitting the coverage for them and point out the car as it goes by. You might also want to submit your own photos and a brief story for Reader's Rides. Submit some type of tech article with the car featured in the pictures. I've known most of the guys at GRM for 10 years. I've raced against them, talked with them and been by the office and I've still never been in the magazine.

in every issue they sum up the races and always have photos of all the NASA series. SPEC, HONDA, American Iron, etc. Every one of his buddies has been published, and he's a bit jealous. plus he just plain didnt like the orange anymore.
