Default My Gti.

I just couldn't stay away. After straying from the MKIII and boosted Vr6 gloriousness for a few years I am back. This was my last MKIII.

I thought about picking up a clean stock car but remembered how easy it is to shove $1000 a month into an MKIII making it what you want. So I had an idea. Why not just pick up the cleanest modded one I can find, sell all the mods and do what I want. Its much easier to pay an extra $100 a month on the car payment and have all the mods rolled in. So after a lot of searching I came across this car.

I had a buddy in NJ go for a ride and check it out. It was everything the owner said it was and then some. I sent a check and had the car shipped. Within an hour of taking it into my possesion it looked a little different.

Still have a few more plans. I'd like to get the side moulding smoothed and painted. I am also not feeling the sidemarkers so new fenders may happen as well. I am getting ready to drive from CO back home to WA so I may drop it another 1/2" once I get home. Someone also has put a down payment on the HPA kit so it should have something a little more potent under the hood soon although 300 whp is fun for now.

I can dig it, once the sides are cleaned up it's gonna be one smooth V-dub.

that didn't take you long. Lookin' Good.

What's with the overspray in the fender wells? Is that common on a painted VDub? My buddy had his painted and was left with bright red fenders.

Gorgeous. Veedubs rule. My buddy bought a new GTI, its niiiiiiiiiiice. I'd want a 1.8t jetta chippered or a turbo VR6. Those turbo kits for the VR6 are pretty reasonable.

Rocking the VW, have you put any thought into what you are going to drop into it, or are you going to make us just wait and see?

Definitely better to let someone else spend the money and you did it right with this car. Looks far better than it did after you did all the work in it. I'm interested to see how the ksports handle on a long trip. Never know, I might go that way in the future.

Full T04 60-1 with a .69 turbine housing and Ptrim wheel. 29X10X3 bar and plate FMIC. Devils Own progressive system of course. Possibly Megasquirt but we will see. Should do around 400 whp at 20 psi. Its arleady quick as **** right now. 300 whp and 2750 lbs.
