because of people like you. because of people like you...
God wishes he has the powers youve given our government.
Explain? I think it's people like you (I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I'll play that game) that have given "our" government the power it has. It's like an inmate digging a tunnel out of prison, covering the hole in the wall with a poster. You think we are still in control, but on the other side of that poster, the government has picked away at any control we once had, and has become an ugly tangled mess of red tape, far too many jobs and roles, and people with titles, useless departments, committees, organizations, ect. so on and so forth. The only way we could ever stop the government is an armed uprising, which apparently we have the "right" to do. But I'm pretty sure "they" wouldn't allow that, even though "they" work for "us". Until we pry the controls out of their hands, they will continue to do as they please, while giving the people the illusion of power and control over what goes on.
And isn't this a picture thread? Why is this being debated here? Politics suck anyway.
Mk. I didn't read all of that, but I still stick with it's douchy.
Again, you don't know what you're saying.
If a cop started to violate your rights (it doesn't matter what the situtaition is, but you know he was doing something illegal to you), would you allow him to do it without saying something?
If no, then why would you intentionally compromise your rights for the sake of his convenience, knowing that at that exact moment, he's trying to find a reason to arrest you?
How many people tell the police "Why yes officer, I'm totally drunk right now?"... hell no, they say "No officer, I've had nothing to drink", even if they're hammered. The very notion that a cop asking you if you've had anything to drink being the point of the conversation is wrong.
I know you didn't read my last post (to your disfavor), but if you haven't watched these... do so now before you end up in jail because you told a cop at a sobriety checkpoint something helpful like "No sir, nothing to drink".
