There are some ballers that turn out for trackdays at Miami-Homestead with neat toys every time. Check out last weekend's eye candy.

I paid $850 for it including the cart and a large almost full bottle of Argon. It needs a tig torch which will run me about $140 at the local welding shop. I also need the hose to go from the argon bottle to the welder.

I will have to pass on trading for a MIG welder, but I will probably will buy a MIG welder sometime in the future.

speaking as a guy that never welded anything ever but had soldered alot, I picked up TIG pretty quick. MIG...not so much. my mig welding is little more than sticking metal together.

I figured I'd be better at TIG than MIG. I've only self-fed MIG welded and it felt odd not holding a stick to burn.

I have Mig Tig and Stick.

I almost never stick ever, and I Tig 95% of the time.

Every time I pick up the Mig I think god, Mig is a DIRTY habit.

TIG welding master race here.
