Should my new wkitty keep her claws?

The only analogy for a person would be like having the ends of yours fingers and toes removed to the first joint. They don't just remove the claw, it would just grow back. They could just remove the claw and then burn the bed, but if not done completely would grow back all phukt up.
Could you imagine how uncomofrtable it would be for the cat to walk around until they heal? Thye don't walk on that knuckle, but it would still painfull. Some cats won't ever go back in the litter box afterwards from the pain in the days after the surgery.

If the cat ever escapes from the house, it will not be able to climb things to get off the ground to safety.
My neighbor two doors down inherited a cat that had been declawed and they let him outside sometimes. Other cats kicked his *** and tore his ear in two. I had to rescue him once when the other neighbor's dog got out because he couldn't climb the wood fence or trees to get away. He was lucky I heard the commotion and came outside.
Cats live a long time. You just never know what situation the future might hold.
It always came down to a combination of training the cat and the cat getting a little more mature with all of ours in the past. We did have one climb a Christmas tree and flip the whole thing over once.
See if you can find some mittens like Brain had in his signature.

I have a 7mo old kitten and its hyper active at times and likes to play with some claws and teeth. It doesn't go crazy and draw blood but it likes to play like any little animal does. Sometimes I play with it aggressively, but only when I initiate it. It used to just randomly attack me like you mention and it also used to try and steal food when we were eating. I have been giving it solid whaps to the head as negative reinforcement when it exhibited this behavior. Only took 1-2 weeks for him to cease it. I of course give him plenty of attention and positive reinforcement when he is behaving well and more and more he is behaving calmly.
You basically just have to train it like any other animal. They are all the same really. If its like BRAND NEW in your house though you should give it at least a month to adjust and get used to you. I adopted my cat when it was 5mo old, let it get used to us and feel at home for a month, and then began the discipline.
Now he's quickly becoming the best cat I've owned.

My GF adopted a cat, I'm about to adopt the cat. She is the "dumpster cat" variety who lived the first 8-months of her life out of the dumpster of a thai restaurant by my GF's apartment. One day GF goes home and there is a beaten, bleeding dyingbaby kitter ...next to a dead coon (lol), and she has what looks like a tumor. After a trip to the vet, a ovaries removed along with ovarian parasites, shots, and some cleaned-up wounds...well, we couldn't let her go because she was too cool and always wanted to play (and she's doubled her weight).
Well, I'm going to take-in the kitty but her claws are a problem. She climbs drapes, shreds **** and doesn't seem to care for the nip-dressed-scratching post. She also likes to scrape me once or twice per day, attack my feet in my sleep and well...it hurts like hell and I don't want her shredding my ****. She's stopped attacking in general, but still ambushes our feet when sleeping and shreds ****. We tried using the squirt bottle but well, this cat doesn't care about it. She likes to walk around in the shower when I'm in there, lol. When she gets out of the shower she hops in my GF's bed and rolls around to dry off, lol.
My first reaction is to not remove her claws because its mean...but humans are king of the jungle and i think her life will be better as a housecat than a dumpster coon fighter.
Yank the claws or no?
