Take a CRV to the Nurburgring, have a yard sale

The difference may be that while Germans are obsessed about following rules, the traffic laws are sensible.
I asked a local how come the Autobahn laws haven't spread to neighboring countries. He said, it's because the car industry has a powerful lobby group.
I thought about this for a bit, and said, "Why can't there be sensible laws written without a lobby group? The common man has no lobby group".

I was more-or-less referring to the civil-law difference. In the US, the driver of the CR-V would sue Honda for making a car that can roll over, regardless of circumstance, and for not placing a prominent warning not to try racing in it. He would sue the 'Ring for not stopping him from being stupid. He would sue the local regional gov't for not preventing the 'Ring from allowing him to be stupid. He might even try to sue YouTube for the embarrassing broadcast of his ***-hattery.
In Germany, it's possible for something to be your own damn fault and, sorry, no suit for you!

Because they're on track, and there are people trained to respond to that sort of thing, and there are who knows how many cars about to come zipping around that corner, and the worst thing you could do is stop and clog the track and/or create a larger incident because someone runs into your stopped *** on the closed track.
