I posted this because I've seen on a few occasions where people wanted to see what the two step (launch control, whatever) sounded like, and this is kinda the first video of my car actually running. Whatever, I should have realized that I was going to be flamed for this, so bring on the hateraide.
The following quotes are from people who I actually am going to respond to at this time and are generally not fucksticks.
Yeah I know, I hate it more than anyone else, believe me. I was trying to get a 3" exhaust from Justin, but for some reason the NB version without cat or DP flange cost and arm, leg, left testie, your first born child, and $700 after discount.
Yup, just ahead of me was an old man (golfcart) crossing, and those guys like to jump out with the quickness.
Also, had I launched it the rear had probably stepped out and spun me backwards through the wooden fence and into the small pond to the left.
Hmm...no? This is actually kinda a funny one actually, as this place is called miataTURBO.net. Odd, we joined at the same time, and were both turbo-less, and now I am currently boosted, and you are...errr...not.
I actually lol'ed at this post. It didn't really go down like that, but now I wish it did.
Another thing I realized while typing this post up: This ->

In no way shape or form do I mean to come off as an asshat in the previous post, it is just hate or be hated on this forum as I have realized over the past two years.
In reality there is no way my car would be in the shape that it is in without most of you guys on here. So I guess what I am really trying to say is that the video is actually your fault.

Set the Launch to 3000, retard above 2800, timing to -10, go into Rev Limits and remove spark, leave fuel. Give it hell and watch the fireballs... Or ******* murder your cat.

Hopefully he doesn't take it the wrong way, as I meant none of that. I know he is a busy man, and the end result will be awesome. He almost beat me, so I am not exactly the one to talk, as I got mine running just about a month ago.

Yeah, that would be mostly bad ***. It would teach that soccer mom that creeps up on me at stop lights to not do that again, but the problem is that I currently have no exhaust so all I would do is create a cool orange under glow neon look and make my seat hot, burning my ***.
) I got bored and started playing. I've yet to see it yet, but I'm told sometimes it'll actually blast a 3 - 5 foot diameter fireball out exhaust and is deafening in the cockpit. Boredom owned even further and I added a microswitch in my center console to play while at cruise. Actually found with those settings I can cruise at constant throttle around 4000 rpm, hit the toggle switch without changing throttle or engine rpm and the engine goes into Decel for about 3 seconds then it fires off the shotgun sound and monster fireball. Plus from a dead stop actually launching the car is pretty amusing, it sounds like a fully automatic shotgun.
Too bad my car has NO ***** and running a 3000rpm launch off the launch control results in a quick tire chirp, bogging, then gradual acceleration.

This is the limit at 3000rpm with a not so bad launch.. I was going to raise the limit to around 4000 and try another launch but it started raining.. Plus I think the neighbors were gonna call the cops on me..
It was only 1am..
