I picked it up and you guys were right about the problems.

New problems found:
1. Coolant leak from one of the hoses in the back of the engine bay, this is leaking like a ****, and i emptied the expansion tank thing in ten minutes, re-filled and went home.

2. Some kind of vacum leak/dirty tb/dirty maf/idk what the hell it is. The car stalled twice, and hesitates like mad.

3. All of the speakers are not there...

4. Shocks feel a little tired, and the car is a tad bouncy.

5. The car is still badass and sounds like thunder on skates. Pics coming.

I think it will be

a. get corrado to not overheat and die when driven

b. prep miata for trackday

c. make corrado even more badass.

I may have to decide at the end of the summer to sell one of the cars, but I'd rather keep them seeing as both of these are so badass.

But I just want to get all of the serious stuff wrong with the corrado sorted (stalling, idle, and coolant) then probably get my seat, harness, and steering wheel for the miata.

Gold plated strut tower bars are for pros only.

I also just found a shitload of other things that are messed up on the new corrado, and pulled up to the local gas station pouring white smoke out of the engine bay from where the heater hose meets the head, so more money needed.

I love this car, and the build quality is ******* impeccable. Notice anything unique about it?

even though they typically have bad taste, the execution is remarkable.

and one more corrado that looks ******* incredible. This is one of my friend's car, with you guessed it, a T04e turbo car. He's had it like 11 years with the turbo. Pretty much everything in the car has been fabricated in his garage which broke, and most of the electronics have been replaced with non-bosch parts. Now its fairly reliable. He has like 140k miles on the John Day built motor at +/- 400whp.

i like corrado's, (at least i better, my car has a corrado engine and engine management) but they have nothing on the scirocco. and by that i mean the old ones, not the new abomination they made and have yet to send to this country.

just make sure all of your electrical system has been gone over and you should be ok. the rear wings always break, but if you stay on top of cleaning the moving parts/motor you will get a lot of life out of the replacement.

the corrado club of canada has some nice diy info for the vr and g60, so make sure you check them out.

One of my friends had a Jetta in that body style wayy back in the day. He dropped it, big wheels, tint, exhaust, and some bullshit LED things in the inside. The car was great for afternoon blunt rides, but it was ******* slower than ****. He would lose every time he lined up next to someone at a red light. He caught on after a couple years that it was a joke and he got a Audi A4, also slow, but more respectable.

I hear you on that bro, I had the same deal. We called the "map" lights in the back weed lights, because they were great for rolling a dutch at night, lol.

His was an automatic 2.slow that lived up to its name, lol.

we just rolled with a Jerome Baker 18" bong. I work for a division of homeland security now, so I'll deny that in court.
