CHICAGOLAND DYNO DAY -- SUN OCT 20th
#21
When first snowfall hits and I start the winter maintenance, I will be re-installing the power steering system. I saved all the old stuff just in case I didn't like it, and I'm glad I did. There really isn't much benefit to it unless you spend lots of time on the track, and even then it's iffy.
As a side note, i'm running about 12 psi now and very curious to what numbers I will be putting down.

Actually, if I can get some help before hand making sure my VVT actual minimum and maximum is correct and make sure my boost PID is as good as it's going to get I would get a lot more out of the dyno day. Anyone willing to meet that is comfortable going through those processes before hand? I'll buy dinner (or drinks if it is a handful if guys).

Myself, I'm trying to have a mod that does a better job with the upper half of the plenum on the 99-00 intake. Specifically the area from the throttle body to the start of the plenum. There's room under the NB hood to raise the TB a good inch and enlarge to a 3" connector between the two. It should allow for greater air flow and slightly larger plenum volume.
Cheers,

Sure you can toss it in the trunk. I'll test out Aarons miata and if its not too bad for a DD then I'll take it, depower it and just swap it with mine and give you mine. The rack can be done with the engine in right? I take it i'll need to pull the turbo or no?
FMs instructions are lovely but they are with the engine out so they leave a lot of guessing room as far as clearances go.
