Jack I will be there both days as I am an insturctor for them. What will you be driving?
It is run quite well I am happy with them. Usually 5 20 min sessions. I would recommend this group to anyone in SoCal. It's a good group of people.

Also you may want to oppen up a thread in the noob section. You may also want to add your info into the signature line so that people know what you have. Just a friendly warning.

Have a great day,
Jared

Hey Jared,

I will be driving my 96 Miata. If you want to be my instructor, I'm all for it.

Just a forewarning though, it's my first time and I have a major problem with authority.

The first session will be follow the leader. The second will be side by side. Then the rest is basically oppen driving. This all depends on how the event goes.

I will be happy to put you in my car and take you for a spin as well as sit in you car and help you out, but my safty is my first concern. I WILL not stand you not following my directions. I have been in that sitation before and will not stand beeing in it again. I am not beeing hash on you to be a dick but to get it in your mind that I have the right not to be in the car if I feel that I am in danger.

FYI add your info into the sig line so that we all know what kind of car you have and what has een done to it. This allows people to be able to help you with less questions and confusion. I have read you other thread and people can be harsh here but there are also rulls here. Folow them and thing will be ok.

Have a great day,
Jared

Jared,

My sense of humor obviously doesn't come across well on the internet. I was hoping that laughing smiley face would help.

If you see a way I can improve, I'm all for it. Getting faster isn't a problem for me. I'm not looking to endanger your safety or mine.

That other thread is a mess. I'm surprised at the lack of discretion concerning new members with ideas that don't fit the norm, but all of that is covered there already.

It's up to you if you ride with me or not.

I am happy to ride with you. No hard fealings, I hate email and texting due to the fact that you can't hear fealings and intent in the conversation. Like I said I am not trying to be harsh on you. Last year I was instructing a young kid and he made a pass in a non-passing zone while I was yelling at him to not pass. Half a lap later we saw a Civic si go off track hit a wall and roll 2.5 times with an instructor in the car. Thankfully all were fairly uninjured. That got me to think a little deeper. Have you done any autox? Where do you live? Have you run the canyons?

This will be the last time I sugest this. Take a few min. and put your info in your signiture so that all can see what you have going on also write a noob thread so that people can get to know you. Some peple are sticklers about the rulles. I will tell you that once I followed the simple sugestions that I was given some peoples additude changed for the better.

Have a great day,
Jared

I just found out that NASA has a race weekend the same weekend. I will be instructing there not with STUSA. I will be at willow just on the big track. I will mostlikely swing by at some point in time though.

Have a great day,
Jared
