As it should be though. Use of nitrous could escalate out of control and bring the costs up even higher. Someone with deep pockets could run a huge shot because he could always just get another motor and have his mechanic put it in. It is analgous to the qualifier turbo engine days in F1. They ran INSANE boost levels during qualifying because the motors only had to last for a lap or two at that power level. Hence the current engine/trans longevity rules.

Damn it! That is too soon! Gotta get the dang car ready still! If I did not have a demanding (but awesome) job and a family it would be no problem. I wonder if the wife would mind if I wrenched on Christmas Day?
