Slammed 1990 Miata
I had to go to work again so I decided to snap some pictures while I was there. Sorry I'm not a pro and it was raining/every once in a while I'd see a snowflake. You can see the cut off for my retrofitted projectors/8k hid kit. I do plan on getting some 4300k bulbs, the shop only stocked 8k and I was anxious to see how hids would be on my miata when I bought them.

I was limited 5 pictures on the first post, early 90 peeling paint but cheap wheels that came with new tires, new top, only paying $1500 for the car, $250 for the wheels has made for a pretty good daily driver. I have been piecing together a turbo kit for the past month, should have all the parts before the end of this month. Can't wait to turbo it and see if its faster than my ka-t 240sx.

lol previous owner used duct tape to hold down a tarp while he waited for the new top to arrive, wanna guess what happens after high 90/100 degree temps in houston summer?
I'm not sure whats up with the front fender, obviously previous damage but everything lines up really well and no paint cracks or dings on that side on the front bumper.
I'll take more pic of the retrofit's once I buy the new bulbs, current project is finishing up my turbo setup, only thing left to do is buy a sr t25 and intercooler/piping.

lol I was expecting someone to say that, I used projectors out of a new mazda milena (sp?). From factory they have regular bulbs in them but the projectors themselves do have proper cut off pieces inside. I bought two complete headlights from the junkyard and hacked away all the extra plastic and used the metal frame the headlight are mounted on. I then made it scissor around the black adjustment piece that the stock headlight uses and tack welded it in place.
Factory adjustment, easy to find projectors, and 9006 bulbs that are in a bunch of cars make them pretty good choice for an upgrade. My stock headlights sucked horribly compared to these even with the 8k bulbs.
