Hi guys. I've never been an avid forum junkie but I ran across this site looking for help on my miata project. I'm originally from Ottawa Ontario where I dedicated a lot of my time to autocrossing with the Motorsport Club of Ottawa but I've recently move to Welland Ontario, near Niagara Falls to go to Niagara College as a welder and no longer know of any autocrossing clubs around my area. I'm hoping that by mingling through your community I'll be able to meet other miata drivers in my area who can help me find my auto-x fix or have a club for me to join all the while learning more about my car and achieving my build goals (which are sadly, not set in stone). Anywho, I have a test in 28 minutes on the weldability of aluminum in the overhead position using SMAW. Wish me luck and I'm glad to have met a group of individuals who don't all think miata's are girl's cars. Looking forward to chatting. Oh and I just remembered the nOOb first thread thing to I guess I shouldn't end this post without a few specs.

Thanks for the links. I had a quick look at them and it looks like there's much fun to be had this summer. Barrie's not far. I still drive the miata to Ottawa for some home events.
