Default Orange County NY Red 90' NA

Hello everybody,
I drive a 1990 NA still with the 1.6 but currently in process of selling and going to 1.8 (maybe turbo if my textbooks for summer classes aren't ridiculous). I have a few decent suspension and chassis upgrades but besides that I'm stock. Once the salts off the roads I'm down for cruises and meets and maybe even track days if I can afford em.

Good choice. In hind sight I should have done the same.

If your in school still and dont have the budget for turbo hold off on it. It's more expensive than you think to do right. I would work on supporting mods such as ecu and clutch instead first and turbo it when you really have the fund.

Extremespeed track events are pretty affordable in my opinion. If you buy a multiple even coupon pass it works out to $60-$70 per event.

I was excited about that price till I looked up its location the events I saw were in Cali (button willow)! I'm located in NY. Once track event that I am currently looking into is at Pocono raceway in April. Its sponsored by the car club "CleanCulture" by me.

But, yes I under estimated the turbo install greatly when purchasing the car. I always planned on forced induction but I knew it was pricey so I focused on handling first. I feel like the 1.8 and a true LSD will satisfy the driving experience anyway. Figure while the cars lower on power focus on becoming a better driver in the mean time.
