One of the guys here called the new owner of Sandia and put together a track day for us. He is working on building the new site for the track. Yes I'm taking my car, and as far as I was told I won't be needing a roll bar according to the guy that called and setup the track day which is a prior miata owner. Also my car has been to Sandia last year without a roll bar with the previous owner.

No I know you have megasquirt, I thought you were going to a dyno tuner.

Is the track day only for base personnel? I have this weekend off and I would love to go.

Oh ok, I'm getting remote tuned by Stratified Automotive Controls, just to adjust my tune for the altitude change. I'll have him remote tune it on the dyno in Amarillo once I build a 1.8 motor.

No the track day is open for everyone, its just unannounced. There should be quite a few ppl from ABQ attending as well. Come on out if you can. Don't let me be the only Miata out there.

Hell yeah! I will be there! Look for a Ti Mazdaspeed. So whats the schedule and when do I need to be there? How much money? Etc etc. It probably will be better if you just PM me the details and we can stop cluttering this thread.

Also I go up to Portales about once a month and I do all my work on my uncles lift so if you ever have big projects, maybe I can help you out if my uncle agrees to it.

I usually just hit the base hobby shop up for their lift or use my jack and jackstands, but I'll keep that in mind. PM enroute.

Just a suggestion. Go to the Tortilla Factory on the main drag just south of Hastings. Get a King Carne Asada just meat&cheese&hot stuff. Then mail it to me. I would trade sexual favors for good mexican food here.

Small place. South of Discount Tire/Hastings a couple blocks. Looks shady as hell and good food. Family place. The King Burritos are about the size of my forearm and they do not skimp on the meat and other stuff. Not like the places here that think crappy ground beef is carne. Damn.........I really want food now.
