Default Better Late than Never

Been reading for over a year now; finally in the install process for an MSM turbo into a 96 M.

Car has already had the FM butterfly and sways, with Racing Beat links, & KYB AGXs installed; added the M-Tuned big brake conversion, Koenig Helium wheels (factory size-15"), a Monsterflow intake, and....ta da, a Link. The Obiwan completely transformed the car into a mongoose.

Car is @ son's shop (ASE Master Tech) for the "power transplant". So far, so good....we'll see what it's like when he's done. We're trying to get photos along the way so that I can post a visual record of the MSM-to-NA install.

Me? Retired military, lawyer (went to law school after retiring), now working as a college professor for the Marine Corps. Happily married with 6 granddaughters...and happy to have a Miata. Car just makes me smile....

Awesome.

Sounds like you've got good help (and tools, and lift) for your build.

Build is going....slowly. As I'm concerned about reliability, we're going slow and adding additional longevity matters. M-tuned coolant reroute is underway; a glitch with the installation means we're now pulling the head to "heli-coil" one of the mounting points for the re-route at the back of the block. With summer winding down, I'm hoping to get the car back before the winter sets in...

Son does great work - no complaints. Just suffering Miata withdrawal.

Name? Originally from Michigan, with grandparents from Ontario, Canada, and great-grandparents from - I think - Thurso in Scotland. Aye, 'tis Scot. When I'm on the proper side of the Atlantic, the name has it's proper pronunciation - "Mack-Eye". Here, it's "Mack-Ay".
