is this a direct swap to an na6? Would you wanna use the starter from the same type of motor that comes with a 6 speed?

5 speed is usually good to 225-250 ft/lbs hard use. I ride my **** way too hard.

6 speed is usually good to 325-350 ft/lbs hard use. I expect mine to go below 300 ft/lbs. Which is why I'm working on a T5 swap.

I think the Miata is perfect for an 8l45 with paddles.

Even though its auto and heavy its fairly responsive and has plenty of gears for these rev happy engines

I drove an ATS-V and a CTS-V. Both were equally boring without a third pedal.

BEGI, in a far future parallel universe. There are some kits on eBay though.

Sacrilege.

Aidan can break bowling *****. He needs something cheap and indistructable, and is willing to suffer more than most. A 5 speed will hold up fine for your stated goals. A 6 speed handles 90% of the successful high-power builds on this forum.

Wut?
A 1.6 car with 5 speed is more fun than nearly anything without a clutch.
That's why these cars are popular.
It certainly isn't because they're fast.

I cant tell who is talking to who? The miata is one of the best drivers car of all time even if 100hp. But there is no way you can't have fun with an ats-v or cts-v auto or manual.

It's fun to mash the pedal a few times and feel the power. But the experience is nothing compared to a well set up Miata.
