west palm beach miata noob
hi all, I live in west palm beach, FL with my GF of 11yrs, 4 rescue dogs, 2 rescue toyota mr2s, and last but not least, a 1992 turbo miata auto x car that i recently bought and use for a daily driver.
I know it has a greddy turbo kit, incredibly loud waste gate, koyorad race radiator, race sway bars, ground control coilovers, megasquirt pnp, 255 walbro fuel pump and rx7 turbo injectors, enkei rpf1 rims and nitto nt450 tires, wideband and a new top. It's also corner balanced, but unfortunately for a guy 100 lbs heavier than me.
I'm learning a lot about owning a turbo (this is my first)...... oh i busted the diff while drifting from my driveway to the first stop light so it now has a 1.8 LSD drivetrain from the trans back, courtesy of upull n pay. I dont know turbo specs, but the guy i bought it from had it dynoed and it's 210 rwhp on a mustang dyno at 10 lbs and 275ish at 15 lbs. I keep it around 10 due to the fuel smell i get when it's higher. (ive been reading the posts on that and plan to try to solve the problem this weekend.
It's a great car. cant wait to get all the little things tweaked on it and get it out to palm beach international raceway.
anyway, ive been a member for a while and reading a lot of the great posts on here, and finally figured i ought to say hi
