Novice from Ohio
A little bit about myself:
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at OSU, planning on Automotive concentration when I get to that point.
I have a red 1995 with 118k miles, the only thing I've done so far has been Megan Street coilovers. I will search and read before I ask any stupid questions, I promise. I am also a feline enthusiast.
I plan on getting a roll bar this winter, and hopefully I will be piecing together a turbo setup for this summer or the next.
I'm here to learn, and from how much I've already read I know this site will be very helpful and I don't plan on contributing to it negatively.
This is before it was lowered at all

Hello!
+1 for Ohio. There are a handful of us on here.
If you havent stumbled upon it yet, check out Ohio Miata Owners on facebook.
There is also the Buckeye Miata Club, with which I host 6-7 semi private autocrosses each year. Our final event of this season is actually this sunday, the 13th, at Circleville Raceway Park. you should come out and run! Its a pretty cool group of people. We usually have 1 or 2 turbo na's in addition to the couple mazdaspeeds that come out.

I've done one auto cross an I cannot wait to do more. Once I get some decent tires next season I will hopefully go to a lot more

Well after spending the previous 2 days constantly reading here and other sites, I feel I am capable of piecing together and installing a turbo setup that will work with P/S and A/C and give me a somewhat reliable ~200-225 whp so I can daily it.
The first step in this process will be acquiring a Megasquirt and wideband and getting them set up for n/a while I piece together everything else needed. Planning to purchase the MS the first chance I get, and the rest will come as money flows in and parts pop up in the classifieds here.
Hopefully everything goes smoothly, now I just have to get a few more posts so I can PM when parts come up for sale
