RIGHT!!!???

I always laugh so hard when people tell me that they bought crap parts, that will run like crap, and make their car crappy, BUT FOR A KILLER DEAL!!

cause, you know, the low price will make your car run right and not blow up

I have a Sebring MSD box and FMU in my garage but will not be installing them on my car. I got the MSD box new for free when I bought some injectors and the FMU was $15. The cost of a rebuild is slightly higher than just waiting for a used Megasquirt or the time to build one.

That being said the old way although no where near as good as what we have now did work. I could run that FMU and MSD box and probably have no issues at under 8 psi.

Barbie if you want to run your MINES ECU do it gurl. Keep us posted how it turns out. It may be fine?

Because everyone who ran a mines ecu splooged their motor?

The control available now is much safer and better but the old stuff still works in richer lower boost applications.

Please show me all the other miata's running a mines ecu.
Better yet - show me what mines actually did with the ecu, how they documented and tested it, and what the results/findings were.

If you can find me anything more than some retarded statement somewhere saying "GUD ECU, VERY NIIIICE, MUCH POWER, SO FAST" I'll be impressed.

Without knowing what the ECU has done to it or what it's setup for I'd avoid putting it in the car. Did you buy the parts from someone who had previously used them?

It'll be modified. But without the data as to exactly WHAT they did, it's largely useless.

Barbie you bought the ECU and Greddy turbo crap together right I'd ignore the noise and run it. Is it Megasquirt and a garrett turbo no but it will be better than stock

Gurl

Mines was kind of big in Japan with the Toyota/Nissan guys. I am a Nissan guy and this is not the first time I have heard about them. This is the first time I have heard about them on a Mazda. Mines charged something like $2000 in the 90's to burn a custom tune for your car my guess is if she bought this turbo kit off a 90's Miata that Mines tuned it will not give her any problems. Its not going to be as quick as something she can put together around a MSPNP for $2000-$2500 but it will be better than stock.

I don't need a lesson about Mines.

I'm asking really simple and easy questions, and none of you can answer them.
Because none of you really even know. All you're doing is regurgitating misinformation and passing it on.
My friend toasted his 2JZ motor on a Mines ecu cause he thought "Mines, sounds legit GURLLL"

Worst kind of people. You are the kind of people that lead n00bs to do stupid things and break things, and then dip out and say "well, it happens" when they come back and say they've toasted their motor.

I'm serious about this. Sell that ecu over at CR and use the money to buy something you know will work and that we can help you with.
