Hi, my name is Curtis. I've been a "lurker" for a while, just reading and searching various topics. These forums have been a great help as I work on my car. I've been into Miatas for a long time and spend a lot of time modifying mine.

I've always been a car nut. I've modified every car I've ever owned. I got my first Miata in 2001. It was a red 1990. I put on KYB shocks, ground control coil-overs, suspension bushings, RPF1 Wheels and falken azenis tires. It was slow but I had a lot of fun with it. I bought it at 170,000 miles and it made it to 300,000 miles before the engine died.

After that one became one of my "drive-way ornaments" I quickly set out to get another Miata. That is when my current Miata came into my life. It's a Silver 2004 Mazda Speed. First I installed FCM coil-overs and racing beat sway bars. Then I wanted more power, so I got the FMII Turbo kit with a 3 inch exhaust. I installed every chassis brace known to man, including a hard dog roll bar. I did a lot of little other things but that's the basics.

I've taken my MSM to two Miata's at Mazda Speed Raceway Events and had a lot of fun!

Looking forward to making it faster as time and money permits. I look forward to the forum helping me along the way.
