Megalogviewer tuning

Megalogviewer tuning
Having read about megalogviewer tuning, I decided to give it a spin to get some basic mapping done. I'd like a few pointers if i'm doing things right as I've noticed that there is often an unburnt fuel smell when idling after driving. Secondly i'm a little hesitant to upload my latest maps as the ve table numbers keep dropping and i'm worried about being too lean (as i know it can end in tears)
The car is an NA 94 1.8 running a narrowband for now. There are no engine mods and it will be like that untill I learn more about how to map the stock engine properly! (although it'll always remain NA)
Map 1
- This is the original base map which I started the car on. This is the mspnp basemap.
Map 2
- After my first drive and VE analyse in megalogviewer, numbers started to drop. Everything seems fine and it drives ok.
Map 3
- I went for a long 30 minute drive and ran the log through another analysis but the numbers are dropping even more to the point that it worries me.
I know the maps are very rough at the minute and have not been smoothed at all, do you know if the values in map 3 safe to use? Any tips would be much appreciated.

Meh, it's n/a, and relatively low compression, you'd be going some to kill it. MLV does a pretty good job tuning with a NB sensor, (verified after fitting a WB).
Man up and let it change the settings mate, it'll be fine.

I had really bad results with MLV until I turned off accel enrichment entirely.
I would not have trusted the results from a NB OXS.
I found that exporting the vex file from MLV and importing it into MT was a much more efficient workflow than modifying and reloading msqs. It's important to make sure to save a msq to go with each log file, so that MLV was starting with the right data.

I guess mlv does not take into account factors like accel enrichment? Anything else I should turn off before logging?
I will get a wb02 but unfortunately i'm being credit crunched atm. All i was hoping for was a reasonably good safe map by using my NB o2 sensor which I have read can be achievable. My concerns about how lean MLV was making things is because i've never seen anyone elses VE tables (after searching on this forum for them) with such low numbers.

Seal: it's pointless comparing, they're different cars so the fuelling required is different.
kday: MLV filters out any data with AE enabled, it shouldn't make any difference? I'd highlight the issue to the author on MSExtra.com He would want to know and will probably introduce a fix.
