Default DIYPNP with 99-00 style Cam/Crank Sensors

Hey all.

So about to wire up my injectors (batch fire), I am using a DIYPNP on a 1.6L but it's a later model engine that uses the 99-00 style crank and cam position sensors.

The DIYPNP manual for the 99-00 states that injectors 1 & 4 are connected together to INJ1, and injectors 2 & 3 connected together INJ2.

But other sources say that injectors 1 & 3 goto INJ1 and 2 & 4 goto bank INJ2.

So yeah, I'm not sure how to wire up the injectors with all the contradicting information.

I have my COPs wired as follows:
Spark A = Cylinder No. 1
Spark B = Cylinder No. 3
Spark C = Cylinder No. 4
Spark D = Cylinder No. 2

Cheers!

The injectors can be wired either way in batch.

Just to confirm as well....

Should I wire up my coils like:
Spark A = 1
Spark B = 3
Spark C = 4
Spark D = 2

Or should it be this:
Spark A = 3
Spark B = 4
Spark C = 2
Spark D = 1

OR

Spark A = 4
Spark B = 2
Spark C = 1
Spark D = 3

As with damn near every other inline-4 engine in existence, the Miata's firing order is 1-3-4-2, so your first config is correct.

Thanks mate!

Was just curious because on my friends MX-5/Miata with a Adaptronic ECU, his coils were wired up like this:
Spark A = 4
Spark B = 2
Spark C = 1
Spark D = 3

It wouldn't run when wired up 1-3-4-2... weird ey?
