Could this be the reason my MS doesent work?
Well as you all know ive had my MS for months now not working.
Ok I just looked it over again, noticed I have R7 installed.
I am using MS as a piggyback, so I shouldent, right?
Would this cause the car to not run right? (extreamly rich for me).

I told ya its not a cali car, it only had one cat, one 02 sensor, and nothing to indicate it was.
Plus if I had a cali car, would that cause the MS to run the car realy rich?

look at your oem wiring harness....any wires on 2y and 2z (end of harness)? CA car doesn't mean two cat and o2 sensors.....my current '91 has never been in CA, FL all it's life, however it's a registered CA car.

Hmm. Link me to your thread or post up everything you know, what's been done, what's been tested, what's been eliminated, etc. I have no clue why it "doesn't work". Tell us everything you know, and post several big clear pics of the board, clear enough that we could read the print on the board. Then maybe someone will spot your error. Help yourself.

Update with BRGracer https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/showthread.php?t=17837
SO
Bacially the car runs SUPER RICH with the MS. It wont idle, wont run at all, just if you give it alot of gas. At which points it like hydrolocks. Me and BRGracer tried alot to get it running, nothing. RQ fuel, Warmup, fuel tables, etc. He suspects its my car.

Ok, this seems elementary but do it anyway. Even if you did half of this yesterday.
Step1: Pull sparkplug #1. Attach wire and properly ground plug to engine. Spin engine over and verify it's getting a strong consistent spark.
Step2: Pull sparkplug #2. Attach wire and properly ground plug to engine. Spin engine over and verify it's getting a strong consistent spark.
Step3: Pull sparkplug #3. Attach wire and properly ground plug to engine. Spin engine over and verify it's getting a strong consistent spark.
Step4: Pull sparkplug #4. Attach wire and properly ground plug to engine. Spin engine over and verify it's getting a strong consistent spark.
If you pass 1-4, it's time to figure out if all 4 cylinders are exhibiting the same problem. Clean your sparkplugs or replace them. Then one by one, pull injector clips and determine which cylinders the engine is running on.
You have to isolate your problem. I read through a lot of your other threads and several people have suggested you take a through examination to ensure your getting a strong consistent spark. Do it. It's the easiest thing to diagnose.

when i got my motor running again, i only was able to get injectors 3 & 4 to squirt...how that was possible I have no clue....since 1 & 3 and 2 & 4 are paired....if four squirts so shall two. I got it idling rough as hell, and i could unplug spark and fuel from 1 & 2 with no change. if i pulled anything from 3 & 4 it stalled.
so i pulled my injectors, threw the stock ones back, and the stock ecu. fired right up and ran great.
so i loaded the PNP map into my MS and tried that. again, great. so i set my timing.
threw the 460s back in, altered the req_fuel and cranking settings and it was golden.
no clue why it happened....but I first verified all the spark and fuel was working and went from there to rule things out.
if i wasn't a lazy ******* I'd tell you to send it to me, but i wont volunteer until my car is 100%. One thing you can try is a new CAS, as stealth97 had an odd issue...

Alright, I have time tommorow. So imma plug the MS in, pull a plug and wire, unplug injectors. Check for spark, repeat for all 4.
If so, then I pull injector clips.
It cant be the CAS, it runs perfect with the stock ecu?

Hm well i got it to idle today for a min, then for some reason it decided to run really rich again.
Also I think I fuel washed my cylinders, and fucked up the rings. It seems to run bad on the stock ecu now. GREAT.
