Question just finish dyno my 97 turbo afr idle issue.

howdy,just finish dyno tuned my turbo 97 miata begi kit t2560,only problem is how can i adjust my idle afr,nnow when im idle is 12.5,,can i ajust this thru req fuel afr target? does affect my tuning after i change this setting or what u suggest to make my adle at 14. so doest full a lot fuell when in stop light?

post your msq.

you probably just need to lean out a few cells at idle and leave the rest alone.


If you change the req_fuel, the entire fuel table gets altered in relationship to the change you made. You should buckle down and learn how to manipulate the tune yourself.

how finally i just upload my msq,everythin ok exept idle issue when is cold am at 1,400 rpm but when get little bit hot it drop to 900 rpm.

Just pull a little fuel in those cells. 12.5:1 AFR at idle is retarded rich, I usually aim for stoich initially, but with fine tuning of the fuel/ign/IAC you should be able to get into the high 15s and still have a very stable idle.
