Default Map sensor line leak?

Well, I knew when I boosted my mad tyte whip yo, I would have some noob *** questions. Well, the discrepancy between the boost gauge and the MS bothers me. At 6 psi on the boost gauge the MS only reads 90-95kpa. I have adjusted the AFR's so I dont blow my car up and my timing is the super conservative ms base map. Also when at idle, the boost gauge says -17 hg and the gauge says about -10. The boost gauge on tuner studio only reads up to about 3 psi when the one in the car says 6. So, one is off, and I have a feeling that it is a vacuum leak in the line to my map sensor, being the fact that it seems to read low in boost and high in vacuum. My gauge is a cheap *** sunpro one from autozone, so my trust for it is somewhat thin.

If anyone has ideas on what it could be besides a leaky hose let me know, thanks!

Edit: It has always bothered me it never read anywhere near 100 kpa when NA, is it the best bet to put a vacuum pump on the line going to the map sensor? I wont jack up the sensor will I?

a vac pump wont hurt anything, and with a couple tees and short sections of hose you could even hook up the MS and boost gauge to the same vac pump to test

Simple (and accurate) test: what does the MS read when the engine is not running? Should be ~100 kPa.

I'm betting you've got a discrep between your MAP sensor calibration and the actual MAP sensor on the MS.

Got it. When megatune was reading correctly and TS wasn't i knew it was a problem with the software set up, thats when I discovered that in TS it was set up as me having a 2.5 bar map sensor and not a 4. Now if i could only get my afr's to match. My car is actually richer than the computer says. My car is idling at 13.2 and the ts says 14.9. Off to search.

Ha ha, I made this one myself, it is the JAW, I am just figuring out which wideband option to use with the MS. Thats what i get for being adventurous and making one myself i guess. I found better results if i set it to the tech edge one instead of the innovate plx. It bought it closer. However if i were to use the innovate plx 10being 0 volts, on my wideband, it is 1v for 10 afr. So i guess i just need to re scale it, here is what i have now.

I the problem should be resolved if i rescale it correctly. What do you think?
