afm is already gone
for sure on a 1.6 there are coolant lines running through the intake manifold and throttle body, i read somewhere that some sensor in the throttle body sends a signal to the ecu based on coolant temp running through it, maybe it was bs but it shouldn't matter now that i'm squirted anyway.
charcoal canister and coolant lines are on the list, anything else i can get rid of that i don't need?

The IAC assembly on the bottom of the throttle body (1.8L) contains a thermal pellet (like a thermostat) that actuates an additional IAC port. Without it the ECU can have problems idling the car not only during warmup but also after driving. The heatsoak on the manifold can cause it to randomly activate. I bypassed the cooling lines and plugged the air passage with JB weld and mapped out my idle so the IAC solinoid alone has no problems controlling it.
