are you talking about the pnp wire harness?

I'm looking into the differences between the MSPNP vs the "MegaSquirt-I EFI System - SMD PCB3.57"(also diyat) now just because, and the firmware update that is included with the PNP is "optional" with the regular unit, which I read as your on your own to upgrade. So a software update, harness and (?)... and I would be near the MSPNP in terms of wiring-less installation and software/hardware revisions. Adding the temp sensor which I will need either way, and Im there. Am I skipping anything feature/function wise?

-just a side note-
Im not trying to cause trouble or stir the pot or anything.
Im trying to get as much for my money as I can since getting married my budget got halved... literally. The EMB isnt what I want feature wise anymore. I like the non MSPNP because I can move on to another car with it, if in the future I want to put a 5.0 a RX7... and I want to retain the Miatas OE harness for the same reason.

No ones getting stirred, I think you found a viable option to MSPNP. The questions i was asking were to bring up issue that you can discuss with splitfire and see where they are at.

MS is awesome whichever package you decide to go with.

There's a couple of differences (and you are correct that we don't build adapter harnesses). The MSPNPs are built to control all circuits the OEM ECU controls except for smog equipment, so it's set up for fan control, A/C control (which is a special circuit we designed just for the MSPNP), and it also has launch control and boost control. We also put months of testing into each MSPNP model to make sure it's a solid, bug-free product.

This. If you have the extra coin, there are *so* many other little things that can go wrong with a custom DIY turbo build that you don't need to be dicking with electronic diagnosis. I finished my build, took 15 minutes to plug in my MSPNP, re-scaled for 460cc injectors, reprogrammed the wideband and set the MS to read the signal properly, and fired my car up - first try. My dad was absolutely shocked that it worked, after all the changes I had made at one time (totally 100% stock to turbo, custom IC pipes, LC-1, MSPNP, and 460cc injectors).
