MS timing
Okay, i might not know what i'm talking about. i'm not an expert at this. I remember when installing my MS and tunning it. one of the first step was set the timming on 10 or-10 or something. i set my car on -10 my car has no low end at all! i can't even make my wheel slip. could it be that my timing is too low? what is everybody using? need help please. my car feels hella slow! LOL..

Start with a base .msq from DIY that's appropriate for your car, and it will contain spark and VE tables that will at least get you going. It will still run a little crappy until you at least do some road tuning of your VE table. Reading the tuning article on DIY's website and SEARCHING the threads in this forum will get you started on tuning with MLV. You have to learn this yourself, as we cannot simply beam the knowledge into your head or the correct numbers for your car into your MS via the magic of Al Gore's Internet. As for the spark table, I'd suggest leaving that alone and use DIY's for time being.

Start by going back and reading the FAQ under "SUPER Important Megasquirt Threads" multiple times until you understand what you are doing. "Set the timming on 10 or-10 or something" isn't going to cut it around here unless you'd like to get e-torn a new e-*******.
