Default installed MSPNP gen1, no start

I am installing a used MSPNP into a 1991 turbo for a guy. He said it was taken out of another 1991 turbo. Came with injectors, IAT, knock box, wbo2, etc from the other car. I knew ahead of time to pull the fuse, that was pulled before i reconnected the battery. car wont start, no fuel pump prime. no fuel pressure. Fans turn on when key on. IAT is wired into AFM harness. cranks.

I tried a jumper in the AFM harness as i saw in some posts. no luck. I found some posts about opening up the box and jumping some connections, have not done this because i am hoping it was already done by the PO if he was honest about it being installed and running. I want this to be the last resort since i dont want to be blamed for a dead ecu.

I havent connected laptop to ecu yet, I know there is a fuel pump option to change but that should be set already if this install is a direct match to the previous.

Is there any wiring i need to do external of the MS box for the fuel pump besides jumping the AFM harness wire, and pulling the fuse?

Fuel pump was working when started the project, switched it to a brand new whalbro, hoping that is not DOA. Havent tested since this is unlikely.

although i dont think the problem is with the relay or pump, i will be testing those tonight to verify working.

help please

(BTW, im the "Joe's Intake" guy )

In diagnostic box jump FP to GND and turn the key to the on position. If the fuel pump doesn't come on then the walbro install had an issue. If pump does come on with the key switched to on then you can either just drive it with it jumped (won't hurt anything) or continue to try to find the issue. My car was driven for years jumpered in this fashion and many cars had the fuel pump come on with the key.

It is better to only change one component at a time.

Fuel pump good. but no spark :( going to work on a fresh map today, start from scratch. Since this isn't a DIYpnp, I shouldn't have to change anything internal to the ecu, right? (its the white box, gen 1)
