Smile DIY Megasquirt 2 question.

Hi,

I'm getting a megasquirt for my brothers mx5 (1989 na 1.6) for his birthday coming up since we are planning on turboing it very soon after.
I think it would be a JDM mx5, certainly not USDM, not sure what the differences the different markets had, but the car was imported to New Zealand from japan.

I have been planning on purchasing this (and a 14point7 SLC Free wideband controller with LSU 4.9 sensor)

Got all the money saved now and just wanting to confirm that I will be able to successfully megasquirt the car with this, also if someone can link me the definitive mods I need to do, been researching for a good while now and I have found a few pages but just want to make sure I don't miss anything.

If there's anything I'm missing, or anything I should know please let me know, I'm relatively experienced with electronic stuff so I'm pretty certain I'll have no trouble putting the kit together but I've read Joe Perez' post on the different megasquirts and I don't mind living with the circuit design and having to do mods etc. Also, all the posts I've seen regarding the better spark output mod to not blow stuff up when flashing etc have been fairly old and missing images etc due to old image hosts being down. If anyone has them handy could I get an up to date link for that.

Thanks a heap, not expecting spoon feeding or anything, just can't find some stuff and want to confirm it all so I don't waste money/time by buying wrong/not enough things.

I would highly recommend a DIYPNP over a v3.0 ms2. see the link in my sig.
