ms3x help in Baltimore area, PLEASE... I am willing to pay.
Hello all,
I have had my ms3x in my non-boosted car for a few months now, and I have never been able to get the car to idle properly with my rx7 550cc injectors.
I have read pages of info...and I just suck.
I need someone who is willing to spend some time with me in the Baltimore area, to help me learn how to tune this thing before going turbo & and maybe after.
I am willing to pay for your time, both in cash and beer.
The car is drivable, so I can come to you. And I also have a car dolly, so I could leave it some where if needed.
On another note.. If you don't know how to tune the ms3x, but you know a shop in the area that does. Please let me know.

I have tried fooling with this thing far to much... I just want it to work at this point...
The main issue I'm having is...
1) User error - I DO NOT understand what I am doing, no matter how much I read, I can't find information that tells me exactly how to get this thing to idle like stock. What I would love to see, is a step by step guide (with every step) on how to tune the megasquirt, But this doesn't seem to exist.
2) sporadic idle (the a/f gauge will be rich, then sway to lean, then idle suffers, Then I mess with tune to get it to be semi stable again.. then it does crazy **** again)
Besides the idle, it's fine... auto tuned the ve table and its runs great.
What I don't seem to understand is..
1) the idle control valve (and why it seems to be unable to operate consistently)
2) the injector dead time
3) voltage compensation
4) PID
5) How this all works together
What I would love to have at this point...
1) Someone teach me how to tune this crap, in person, step by step.
2) A car that acts as stock as possible and doesn't need a to be retuned every time I drive it

I dont think it would have to go into every little feature & function... Just the basics would be nice to start out. I'm confident I will figure it all out when the time comes to get my MS, but i'd love to have some videos to watch so I'm not completely blind going into it. It would be nice if MS took on the task. They could even make it into a youtube channel and add more videos as new features come out... I dunno, just a thought
